Saturday 30th June: Bauhaus by day, Bauhaus by night at The Barbican

I spent last Saturday down at The Barbican Bauhaus exhibition running an accessories workshop as part of the Bauhaus By Day, Bauhaus By Night event for the evening costume party.  Here are just a few snaps, as I was busy with a glue gun instead of a camera!  Thanks to Vicky Langdon for her image of three cone-headed party goers and Black Cab Sessions for thier instagram of Kwes dj-ing.  Thanks to Kwes for playing - a perfect fit to the theme with his recent "Klee" entitled EP.
See the official photography from the day over on the Barbican facebook page here and here.

Friday 29th June: DSM Queen's Diamond Jubilee window by Andy Hillman

As the M.Goldstein window and pop-up shop launches at Dover Street Market this week, here is a look back at the previous scheme for the Jubilee by Hillman Studio.  To mark the Queen's Diamond celebration, Rei Kawabuko gave Andy Hillman some Comme Des Garcons X CHRISTIAN ASTUGUEVIEILLE crowns to integrate into the set design.  Here are the beautiful jewelled pieces displayed in-amongst pastel painted timber and Andy's bricolage brass instrument chandelier.  Thanks to Alex Cunningham for these snaps from the installation process.  Check out the team's latest campaign for Mulberry featuring giant furry monsters!!
